My father is Paul Vernon Huffman. He was born in Charleston, WV. His parents were Eustace Paul Huffman and Clella Alice Tinsley. My father's brothers and sisters are as follows: Nathaniel Henry Huffman, Norma Jean (Huffman) Milam, Carl Lee Huffman, Walter Huffman, Kenneth Ray Huffman, and Barbara Ann (Huffman) Hester. Eustace Paul Huffman had both brothers and sisters. Their names are Theodore, Walter, Donald, Pruva, Otto, Elmo, Irene, Opal, and Beulah. Their parents were Walter Huffman and Elmyra (do not know her maiden name). I believe that Elmyra married a Hoover after Walter Huffman. my mother's side of the family. She was born Clara Adaline Hoover. Her parents are Russell Theodore Hoover and Helen Arlene Hill. Russell Theodore Hoover's parents are Russell Daniel Hoover and Adeline Cole. Russell Daniel remarried after the death of Adeline Cole. Her name is Cleo Grimmett. With her he fathered three children: Hershel, Chessie, and William Herbert. Helen Arlene Hill's parents are Robert H. Hill (died between 1929-1930) and Nanny Claire Harold (b. 1-24-1878). They had three other children: Labon, Harold, and Chilton. Nanny Claire Harold had one brother named Otis Dabney Harold (b. 1-16-1882). Their mother's name was Sarah Huffman (b. 1843 in Pennsylvania). She had a brother and sister. my Grandfather James Henry Allinger was probably born in 1853 in New York state, although some of his offspring believe he came from Illinois. Sometime about 1897 he met and 'married' my grandmother Bertha Kruger in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Bertha was married and had 2 children by an unnamed miner who apparently blew himself up in a mining accident. James Henry and Bertha moved to Buena Vista Colorado in 1898 where Grandpa worked the mines and sold 'antiques' (ie used furniture).
