Robert Baird of Pinson, Jefferson County, Alabama
Robert Baird Family of Pinson, Jefferson Co., Alabama. Robert Baird was born on 29 Aug 1792 in Virginia, moved to Bedford Co., Tennessee in 1810, fought in four engagements in the War of 1812, and in 1818 moved to Perry Co., Alabama. He remained there for a couple of years, then moved to Jefferson Co., Alabama where he married Susan Tatum on 17 Mar 1822. Robert and Susan moved back to Perry Co. and after a year returned to Jefferson Co. where they remained the rest of their lives.
