Ancestors and Descendants of Micajah C Lindsey and Elizabeth McLurken
The Micajah Lindsey family website is for the collection and dissemination of information on Micajah C. Lindsey (1775-1845), his wife Elizabeth McClurkin/McLurken, their ancestry and descendants. Micajah, born probably in Virginia, grew up in Surry and Rutherford counties in North Carolina, lived in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, probably in either Kentucky or Tennessee, passed through Alabama, and eventually settled in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. Elizabeth's family most likely arrived in South Carolina from Northern Ireland in 1772 on the ship 'Lord Dunluce. |
