Description: Edward James O?Donnell was born 4 December 1885, in Oakland, CA. He was the son of Joseph O?Donnell, born 10 January 1854 in Melbourne, Australia and Mary Joyce born Clifden Country Galway, Ireland, born June 1857. I believe they were married in California but I really don?t know that as fact.
Joseph O?Donnell was the son of Patrick O?Donnell born in Ireland and Barbara Conroy born Aug. 1838 County Galway, Ireland. Patrick and Barbara went to Melbourne, Australia, I believe, in 1852. I know they returned to Ireland because other children, who immigrated to U.S., were born later in Ireland. Barbara came to the US in 1884. I do not know what happened to Patrick.
