(or any combination) (all of these names found on death certificate & marriage liscence) DeVine and Mary Byrnes. Brothers to Michael are Patrick and Luke. both who immigrated to U.S. Other siblings unknown.
Michael may have come to U.S. to Mass. and then settled in Covington, KY where he married Lavinia Cameron. Both were employed by Daniel Henry Holmes of New Orleans, LA (owner of Holmes Department Store) at Holmesdale in Covington, KY. They lived mostly in Covington, KY at Holmesdale estate, some called it Holmes Castle. Michael & Lavinia had 8 children, all born in Covington, KY at Holmesdale. Michael Peter (nic-name= Bud), David Andrew (nic-name=Madison Avenue Dave), Luke, Lavina, Rachel, Mary Catherine (2), Katherine, & another named Mary Catherine (1) who died at 4 months of age.

Description: Immigrated from Ireland to Prince Edward Island about 1840-1850. Our grandfather James H. Clark born PEI 1863, immigrated to WA state late 1800s, married, had children. William died about 1870. Don't know what happened to the 5 brothers, sisters? and mother James left in Canada.
Surnames: Named was Clarkin/Clarken in Northern Ireland.
Changed to Clarke in Canada, then to Clark when James came to the USA. Some family members in WA have reverted to Clarke. No wonder this is confusing! Mary Ann's maiden name was Walker, don't know her parents, etc.

He was married to martha Manerva Elder, daughter of Thomas Elder, 1785-1807 of PA and Mary Elder (1785 in VA to 1853 in Grayson County, KY). Son of Richard Milton Campbell, my great grandfather, was Hardin Campbell (April 24, 1851-March 18, 1921) of Grayson Co. KY. My grandfather was Hugh Campbell of KY (Oct. 5, 1900-April 6, 1975) of Sherman, TX. My father, Hugh Wilburn, of Sherman, TX was born March 5, 1923.
