John W. Beam who lived in Lestershire (now Johnson City), Broome County, New York, and died in 1915. Will Baer was born about 1854, in 1908 he was married to a woman named Mary Wilson and had two sons, Cecil and Howard Henry who was my wife's father. Howard was born in Curwensville, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania in July of 1917, Cecil was born in 1908. George H. Clark was born in September 1849, possibly in the Rock Valley area of New York. He married a woman named Jennie L., and they had 4 chidren. Two of the 4 were twins, Cornelius, and Cornelia who were born on november 29, 1899 in Rock Valley. Stephen Patchen, who was born on July 1, 1867. He was married to Anna Owens, of Aubern, New York and lived at one time in Syracuse, New York. Daniel BAXTER came into USA in or around 1778. He was born In Ireland or Scotland Circa 1758. He married Sarah CARY in Menham, Morris,New Jersey in 1780. Was bound over to the Govenor in 1778 with a John BAXTER (possibly a brother). After Sarah CARYs father died, the will was probated in 1799, they moved to Washington County Pennsylvania. The following is a list of there children. John, Samuel, Esther, Rebecca, Nancy, Pacey most were born in New Jersey, also Daniel, and James W. who were born in the Washington County Pennsylvaia area. Later the boys migrated to Knox County Ohio. John settled in Knox County while Samuel moved on to Ross County Ohio and then to Allen County Ohio. I am researching my Wilson family history and determined the first ancestor known in the U.S. was a Zadock (or Zedick) Wilson. His wife, Elizabeth Stewart, had at least one child, Thomas, born in Muskingum County, Ohio, cir. 1814. Thomas Wilson married Christina A. Wiley in March 1843 and had eight children: Thomas A., Harriet, John, Zadock, George, Marion, Luther, and Clara. Thomas Arthur Wilson, born in Muskingum County, Ohio in 1858 married Cordelia Caroline Hesse, born in New Washington, Ohio in 1859. |
