She graduated from Mora High School as did her brother and sister, and also all 3 of her sons, and 3 of her grandchildren. Bob (Robert) was born in Pine county, MN the son of Albert Edward Anderson and Ella Batterton McNeal Anderson. He is the 2nd of 5 children in the family. The children, I believe were born in Carlby. Son of James/Charlotte: John (1) Grice b. June 6/1823 m. Mary Ann Shortliff b. 1823 Rutlandshire d. May 5/1853, m. on May 3/1846: 4 children--James Feb 23/1847; Elizabeth Ann Mar 23/1849; John Thomas b. Sep 17/1851 d. 6 moes.; John (2) Sep 16/1852. Other Children of James/Charlotte: William (Bill) b. 1819; Elizabeth (Bess) b. 1821; Eliza b. 1836 died very young; and, Luke b. Jan 4/1829. John (1) and Luke moved to the states in 1856, at least, John (2) came as well don't know about John (1)s other children. Our Abbott history starts with three brothers who started out from Scotland with the last name McNab (my great grandfather James Early Abbott told me of this himself when I was six, and Ms. Lee confirmed it years later) and ended up here in America as an Abbott. James from whom I\m a straight decendant, and his two brothers Thomas and Matthew split up shortly there after. We never knew what happened to Thomas or Matthew. Rumor has it one went to the New England area, the other to Pennsylvania. I have got to know where those two brothers went off to! My wish is to find their parents and prove the McNab legend. \r\n\r\nAs well as the Abbott line of Virginia and West Virginia, I\m looking into the family of Friend Davidson Arthur of Summersville W.VA, his son, Christopher Columbus Arthur, his son William Sherman Arthur and his son Paul Sherman Arthur born in Gallia County, Ohio. Also the decendants of Paul's sister Mary Jane Arthur-Cook born in 1902 Gallia County Ohio and last residence known, Omaha, NE. Paul Arthur was my mother's father. We\ve found out a great deal more about Paul in the past year, but he was a hard fellow to find. We live for this kind of stuff though don\t we?
