Emphraim Lock/Locke born VA and his descendants living in Tennessee in 1850 Giles Co. Some of his children are: son, Hardin Parke; daughter Sarah; son William; son James; son Pleasant. Lucinda, wife of Emphraim was born in KY.\r\nHardin P. Lock/Locke married Mary Elizabeth Hale in 1852 in Giles Co. Tn. Their children are Geo. Washington, Andrew Jackson, Joseph Franklin, Dewitt Pleasant, Finis H. Mary E. died in 1870 in Dunklin Co. Mo. Son Andrew Jackson was born in Illinois in 1858. Have been unable to locate them in the 1860 census anywhere. The family left Dunklin Co. Mo and relocated in Oregan Co. Mo by the 1880 census. Hardin married Maggie Heath Moler in 1878 Randolph Co. Ar, not too far from Oregan Co. Mo. They also started a family of which my grandfather was born: Albert Haden Locke. They moved to AR in 1884, Hardin died in Randolph Co. AR in 1887. Hardin and Maggie had 5 children: Albert Haden, Queenie, Drew, Josie and Allie.\r\nOther family surnames are Adams from Illinois; Helms from TN; Clayton from TN. |
