This is a research/discussion group for the descendants of Peter BLACK, who lived in Buffalo Twp, Washington Co PA. According to his will dated 12 Feb 1808, Peter's children were: Elizabeth (m. MASTERS), Samuel, James, John, Peter, David, Moses, Aaron, Sarah, Kettron (Katherine?), Solomon, and Joseph. Some of Peter BLACK (Sr)'s children and grandchildren moved to Champaign Co OH between 1805 and 1810 and to Henry Co IA between 1835 and 1840. |

He brought his family, 2nd wife Christiana Hausch, and his 6 children; Henry, John Christian Jr., Peter, David H., Christiana (Neuschwanger), and Daniel. They came in 1840, and settled at Galena, IL in 1842. He children and grand children settled in several states; CA (Christian Jr.), KS (Henry), others include; MN, ID, OR, CO, MI, and TX. |
