the Applegate Family and the Rowen Family. I believe the Applegate's decended from Thomas Applegate who came to America in the 1800's. I believe they originated in Boston, Mass. I am also interested in the Rowen's. I know I have two decendents of the Revelutionary War, Michael Collier and Christopher Rowen. Mabel Rowen was the daughter of John Rowen who lived in Pa. (Kensington). John's father was William Rowen, son of Henry Rowen. Henry married Elizabeth Collier, daughter of Ann and Michael Collier. Michael was a drummer in the Revelutionary War. I am also interested in the Hudson and Martin families. The Hudson's originated in England. The Martin's are from West Virginia. |
