Eliza Keeton age 16f living in Francis's household in 1850 Census of Jackson Co. AL The second son, William, was blind and is shown as the only child still living with Francis and Elizabeth in the 1870 census. The tombstone inscriptions spell his name as Whitely. Peter Gilla lived next door age 52 b VA. In 1894 a Katherine SCRUGGS Whitely was a member of the Belle Mina, AL Methodist Church with Laressa Lindsay (child of Sue Whitely) & other family members. |
