ADAMS ADAIR CHAMBERS SHAIFFER RHINEHART WALLACE GENEALOGY
All of the names I am researching lived at one time in North Louisiana. Most of them originated in Catahoula Parish. Some migrated to Shreveport and others to Arkansas. Others stayed in the Central Louisiana area. The Chambers lived in Marthaville, Natchitoches Parish, then moved to East Texas, Shreveport, and southern Arkansas. I am looking for the Shaiffers. They seemed to disappear into thin air after leaving Catahoula Parish. Some of the Adairs moved to the Shreveport-Bossier area. \r\nPartriarch Joseph Adair settled in East Carroll Parish where Joe's Bayou flowed into Bayou Macon. At one time, Joseph also lived in Concordia Parish. His children were John, David, Martha, Sidney, Sarah, and a daughter who was suspected to have been kidnapped by Indians when an infant. She was the first born. \r\nJohn's children were Johnathan Marion, Mary Malinda, James, Richard Harding, Thomas, and William.\r\nJohnathan's children were Martha Euretta, Marshall Newman, Richard Randolph, Johnathan F., and Mary Malinda.\r\nMartha Euretta m. Jason Mahoney Wallace. They were my maternal grandparents. They lived in Shreveport, Louisiana. Their descentants are still living and shall not be mentioned here.\r\n\r\nDave Barry and Nancy Raines Chambers lived iRobert Adams
The Silva/Gould/Pedigo Home Page
I was able to trace the maternal side of my family back to 1665 to the name Pedigo.\r\nI have only gone as far with the Silva side as my grandfather, Ernest Silva's (b. 7/18/06 d. 3/26/56 in CA) father, Manuel Silva from Portugal, and his mother, Mary Garcia of California. \r\nOn the Gould side, I have only been able to trace my grandmother's father, Leonard Gould (b. 5/25/1893 d. 5/70). His parents are both unknown. It is said that he had a sister named Ethel and lived with an aunt Kate. It is also said that his mother was from Scotland.\r\n

Sullivan Burgess Family Tree
This page holds my family tree, which will be updated frequently. If you see someone you know, let me know. If you have information on someone, please share it with me. I have a lot of information on the Laughlin, Davy , Glendenning and Thomson lines, but the Sullivan, Burgess, Farrer, Harman, Trivett and Purchase lines need much more work. Please note that the Davy, Thomson and Glendenning pages are very large and takes time to load.

I am most interested in finding information on James Sullivan who immigrated to Canada in 1912 and left behind their families. I know it is too much to find my grandfather side of the family. (do you know how many James Sullivan's there are?) If you have any information on a James Sullivan born in England on Sept 25 in the 1870's, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! I am offering a $100.00 US reward for the first person that can find him. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the back up I have on James as to date.
