Steven Blair Aldridge Family Home Page
Daniel Aldridge resided in Mudhole, NY (which is now known as Roseton, NY). Daniel is thought to have moved to Newburgh, NY, sometime between 1810 and 1817, due to the fact that his wife was from there. One of his sons was Thomas Aldridge born in 1818 and died August, 1892. Thomas bought a farm near Fishkill Landing, NY in the fall of 1853 which later became the 'ABC' (Aldridge Brothers & Company) Brickyard in Dutchess Junction, NY. Thomas married Sara Ann Garner and had a son William Halstead Aldridge who was born 1843 and died in 1897. William married Harriet Elizabeth Blair, a direct decendant of John Blair of Virginia who signed the Constitution of the United States, had a son Thomas Douglas Aldridge who was born July 29,1890 and died in June, 1967. Thomas married Laura Jordan in 1910 and had a son Aaron Ennis Aldridge (my father). Aaron married Patrycia Higgins and had a son Steven Blair Aldridge (that's me!). I was born June, 1956, and married Deborah Jane McCain on February 4, 1984. Deborah and I have a beautiful son Steven Blair Aldridge II who was born on October 13,1986.\r\n |
