I\m looking for any information regarding my ggg grandparent, Mathew Power. Mathew has proven very elusive and haven\t been able to come up with anything about him. Mathew married Elizabeth Fisher in the Parish of Northam, North Devon, England in October 28, 1807. The marriage certificate says that Mathew was a mariner. \r\n\r\nThey had the following 4 children:\r\nMary Power b. February 22, 1808\r\nMary Power b. September 30, 1810\r\nEliza Power b. September 30, 1810\r\nThomas Power b. June 23, 1819\r\n\r\nThe March 1851 census, Plymouth Charles Martyr, (1878 310 33) at 6 North St, shows Elizabeth Fisher as a widow at age 64. Also with her is Justina Power, age 24 (her youngest daughter perhaps?)
