Frank E. BECK was my g grandfather, who came to this country as a child from Germany. His birth date is 1873 and he died in 1918. He is buried in a cemetery located on private land in the Victoria Co., Texas area, along side his wife, my g grandmother, Mittie BROOM. She did not die until 1935. \r\nThe parents of Mittie BROOM - W A BROOM and Nancy THORNTON were married in Hinds Co., Ms. WISE and LACEY are Nancys\ ancestors. Nancy's parents - Carleton Crawford THORNTON and Mary WISE.\r\n\r\nRobert Hugh TUCKER was born 1860 in Trinity, Texas. Robert married Mary Etta GRIFFITH in 1882 in Trinity, Texas. Roberts\ father, John J. TUCKER married an Agnes MILLIKEN. Robert and Mary Etta's last child was my grandfather, Frank C. TUCKER born in 1896 in Yoakum, Texas. Starting in 1883, their children were born in Trinity, Bee, and DeWitt Counties in Texas.\r\nMy grandfather was killed in 1920, as he worked his first day on the job as a brakeman on a rail line that ran from Hattiesburg, Ms. to Gulfport, Ms. His name was Charlie Nelson CHILDERS. My grandmother, Fannie Gertrude JONES remarried a Buford Dunn. My grandmother was born in 1893 and died at the age of 102. \r\nMy grandparents are buried in Lumberton, MS.\r\nMy great grandmother was 'Miss KiSharon CHILDERS Alderman |
