The Mcglamary Family of Bristol, Va
Ulysess (Mac) Mcglamary was the son of Frank and Amanda J. Bishop McGlamary of Wilkes NC. They later moved to Trade, Tennessee. They bothe died in Trade,Tn and are buried in Reece Cemetery off Bulldog Road. \r\n\r\nMac married Carrie Bell Moore in Mountain City, Tn on Jan.7, 1909. They set up housekeeping on Second Taylor Street, Bristol, Virginia. They had several children Catherine being the first child, George, Porter, Rhoda, Augustus, William, Bee,& Mary. \r\n\r\nMac died Aug. 1, 1932 and is buried in Paperville Cemetery, Bristol, Va. Carrie is buried in Mountain View Cem. Bristol,Va. beside of her son George & his wife Hattie. Catherine, & Bee are buried there also. William Mcglamary is buried in Riveside California, Rhoda is buried in Morning View Cemetery in Bluff City, Tn. \r\n\r\nMac's parents were Frank and Amanda McGlamery. They were married in Wilkes, North Carolina, then moved to Trade Tennessee. There they lived the rest of their lives on Bulldog Road. They are buried in the Reece Cemetary on Bulldog Road, Trade Tn.\r\n\r\nCarrie's Parents were James and Mary Moore. She was born in Sullivan County, Tennessee. She came from a family of 10 and she always told us she was part Indian.\r\n |
