During the next 30 years several other Adams's also sailed to America from England.\r\n\r\nBecause of the Civil War and the court houses being destroyed by fires all over the south, It is almost impossible to trace any of our family back earlier than the 1700's. Will of Jennet (Arnot) McMichael (~1788-1868)
Jennet (or Janet) ARNOT was the daughter of Robert ARNOT and Janet BROWN. She was born c. 1788 in Orwell, Kinross-shire, Scotland. Her family emigrated to America (New York) in the early 1800s. She married Daniel McMICHAEL in Glen, Montgomery Co., NY, on September 16, 1806. They had between 9 and 11 children. Jennet died on November 06, 1868, in Minaville (Florida), Montgomery Co., New York. |
