Brooks Family of Pike County Alabama,and Chicago, Ill. Arthur Brooks was my maternal Grandfather born in Pike County Alabama in 1900. He died in Oakland, CA in 1976. His father, Charlie Brooks, was born in 1875 in Elmore County Alabama. Arthur's mother was Mathilda Smith of Montgomery Alabama.
