Searching our Dixon family roots
This Dixon family lives in the Glasgow area of Scotland. Our DIXON line appears to originate from the north east of England, with a very brief detour via Limerick Ireland (which added the surname BLACK). Our MELVILLE and CREIGHTON lines have strong roots in Fife. Our ROCKELL line hails from Buckinghamshire England. Our immediate PALMER line hails from Ayrshire but has roots in Cumbria. Other lines of Gray, Melvin and Seaton have strong roots in Ayrshire and south west Scotland. |
