The Kerr/ McMurtrie/Beauregard Family Home page
Robert Loughton Kerr born in Innerleithen, Scotland in 1888(we believe). He married a Catherine Tennant Dunlop Mcmurtrie from Glasgow, Scotland, born somewhere between 1895 and 1903. They emigrated to Canada in 1920's and had one child, a Robert George Kerr. Robert joined the Canadian Armed Rifles. He died in 1928 or 1929 in an industrial accident in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Catherine Tennant Dunlop McMurtrie had 2 sisters and 3 brothers that I am aware of: Jean, Dolly, Jack, Andrew and George. Andrew died in the war at an early age. All of her brothers were military men. She had a cousin of whom she was particularily fond by the name of Thomas Milroy. She also had some relatives by the name of Baird, apparently living in Canada. After Robert Kerr passed away, Catherine married a Harris Davis. Muriel D Beauregard - InterneTree

My great grandfather OSCAR CLAYTON BEACHLEY moved from Middletown, Maryland to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania around the turn of the century. My ancestry goes back five generations in Middletown, Maryland. I have traced my line back to HENRY BEACHLEY or HENRY BEAGLEY or HENRY BIEGLER (17?? - 7 SEP 1795) in Middletown. From another source I found HENRY BEACHLEY's father listed as HENRICH BOECHLE (~1720 - ? ). I found a HENRICH BOECHLE arriving in the ship SAMUEL OF LONDON from the port of ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS on AUG. 11, 1732. Michael T Beachley - InterneTree

The BEASTON's of Illinois
The BEASTON family moved to Illinois in the 1830's, originating in Delaware and moving to Pennsylvania around 1817. It is believed that the immigrant came from England in the early 1700's or late 1600's. The Tree traces back to Mesier BEASTON of Duck Creek Cross Roads, Delaware where he operated a family business as a saddle tree maker. Upon his death around 1802, he left his oldest son Thomas, married at the time, with the charge of raising his two youngest sons John and Daniel. They moved to Pennsylvania with Thomas and married in that state. Thomas had two sons named Lewis and John D., and a daughter Elizabeth. The three of them moved west to Illinois in the 1830's where John remained until his death. Lewis and his family moved westward in 1860's to Southwest Iowa where he is buried in Freemont County.

Researching Ray, Fry, Beavers, Mobley, and others.
Our Fry Family includes the descendants of Phillip Fry, James Harvey Fry, Marshall Calloway Fry, William Leonard Fry, John Calloway (J. C.) Fry, to Martha Lee Fry (Beavers). On the Ray side, we start with Jim Ray who married Martha Clark, and had children Charles James Charlie Ray, Julia Ann Ray, and Onie Ray. Charlie married Rosa Lee Tipton, daughter of Ezra Thomas Tipton & Lora Elizabeth Cranford, and they had Clark, Alma, Barney Hampton, Rosalie, and Charlene Ray. Little is known about Jim & Martha as they both died early in the children's lives. We believe they came to Oklahoma from Georgia. The Beavers' line begins with Leland George Beavers, who married Mary J. McClug or McClung, and had seven known children, the youngest was Thomas Franklin Beavers. Thomas Franklin Beavers married Lenora Odessa Smith and they had nine children including Thomas Eugen Tommy Beavers. Tommy married Viola Mae Mobley and they had 5 children including my husband Thomas Eugen Tooter Beavers, Jr.

The Beauchamps of Cottrellville Township St Clair County Michigan are descended from the Beauchamps of Mascouche Quebec Canada and the surrounding area. They in turn are descended from Beauchamps from Normandy France who emigrated to Canada in the 17th century. Campbells from New York migrated west to Michigan. In 1835, Merlin Campbell, born in New York, married S Elizabeth Arnold. Their daughter Cormelia married Daniel Beauchamp, a Civil War veteran, in Cottrellville Township, where their descendants have continued to live. A number became engineers on Great Lakes steamships.
