LUCA (Luke) BAYONE(1850-1901) was born in 1850 in Italy, emigrated to US, married MARIA MASTROPIETRO(1866-1919) from Frossinone, Italy and had a large family. They lived originally in Greenwich Village, NY, and later some lived in Brooklyn, NY. Luke was in the laundry business. MOORE family from Ireland. TIMOTHY MOORE (1864-1928) was born in Garryheaken, Co. Limerick. He emigrated to US and lived in Red Hook section of Brooklyn. He married MARGARET ENGLISH in 1888 there and had six children. His six siblings were Margaret, John, Thomas, Patrick, Michael, William Moore. Their parents were THOMAS MOORE and CATHERINE RYAN. CHARLES A. HENNIS, born in 1841 in either Canada, England or Ireland? He emigrated to US in 1970 from Canada, was naturalized in 1874 and married MARGARET IRWIN OR IRVING of either Canada or NY. They lived on Columbus Ave. NYC per 1900 Census. Most of their descendants live in New Jersey.

JOHN CHARLES BAYLOR son of Fredick Baylor and Marian Shepard. After running away from home at the early age of 15, John Charles stayed with a cousin living in Texas - There he met and married Maia Concepcion de Jesus Portugal. John was descibed as a six foot, muscular man with reddish blond hair and deep blue eyes. The were married in the Catholic Church in Eagle Pass on Friday, December 24, 1888. They had three children, James (called Jim) Wilson Baylor, born in 1888, Belem born on October 13, 1893 and Stella born on September 13, 1895. All three children were born in Eagle Pass, TX. The Gould line is descended from Zaccheus Gould of Topsfield, Mass. The Heaberlins came from Tennessee to Iowa. The Chapmans came to Minnesota from Maine. McDonough line came from the tiny island of Lettermullen in County Galway, Ireland.

1) Members of the Baylis or Bayliss family through the lineage of Richard Bayliss and Mary Ellis from Sevenhampton, Gloucester. My direct line is through their son, Joseph, who was born in 1809, and married Caroline Matilda Rogers in 1829. Most of the family at that time lived in Cheltenham, Sevenhampton and Leckhampton. 2) Members of the Matthews lineage who came over to Upper Canada (Ontario) from Llansamlet, Wales in 1821. The leader of the group of pioneers was John Matthews. My direct lineage is to his brother, Phillip and his son, Captain Benjamin Matthews. Some members of the family moved to an area near Marquette, Michigan in the late 1800's.

Bayles and Upchurch Families of Harnett County, NC
Harnett County North Carolina was formed in 1855 from Cumberland County. My ancestors were there long before this took place. Solomon Bales (Bayles) bought his land in 1816, married and raised his children. Many of his descendants can still be found in Coats and the surrounding communities. The Upchurch?s originated in England came to North Carolina in the 1700?s. Benjamin Upchurch, thought to be a descendant of Michael Upchurch, came to Harnett from Franklin County. In 1850 he married Arabella Medlin and they began their family.

My father's lineage comes from the Bay's of Denmark and the Ballou's of France. My mother's lineage is Whitmarsh, King and Gibson. My maternal great-grandfather, John W. Whitmarsh, was in Andersonville prison during the Civil War. My maternal great-grandmother's maiden name was Angeline Bogue. They lived in Iowa and Nebraska as adult's. John Whitmarsh was from Saratoga County, NY. Angeline Bogue was a Worthy Matron of the State of Nebraska, Order of the Eastern Star.

Davids wife listed as Delia age 22. David and Delia also born in Ohio. David & Delia had three children,John,Joseph Scott,and Mary E. Russell later married Angeline Gale born in Indiana and in July 1853 had a son Lyman Roswell in Des Moines,Iowa. Other children unknown. Next known Lyman married Elizabeth Mae Emory who was born in Weatherford,Tx. She was native Indian descent. They had children Arthur R,Leslie, Margaret,Delia,& Nellie. All assumed to be born in Texas. It is known that Arthur was born in Georgetown,Tx. Arthur married Della Mae Moseley in Oklahoma.
