Foster Eddings was born abt. 1844. Ebbie Ware was born 1869 in Lebanon, TN. Father Ransom Ware. Foster and Ebba was married around 1891 in Lebanon, TN. They migrated to Texas around 1896 or 1897. Foster had several wives before he married my ggrandmother Ebbie. On the 1870 census there was a child named Foster Eddins in Wharton Co. TX. The 'book' section 'TSSVAP' contains the major portion of our research. From Southside to SW VA during the mid to late 1700s these families appeared to have migrated together. From SW VA these same families migrated to TN, KY, and then to NW AL from 1811 through 1860. After the Civil War they began migrating to various sections of the country, though primarily to TX and surrounding states. |

Our family settled in Pittsylvania County, VA. \r\n\r\nThe Morrison family and Rayle family settled in PA. According to our info they were mainly in Chester County and Clearfield County, PA. Some of the Rayle family later moved to NC.\r\n\r\nThe Haymore family originally was in the Old Rappahannock Colonies of Virginia as early as 1685. We have not been able to find information earlier than this for the Haymores, sometimes spelled Hamour. Our branch eventually settled in Pittsylvania County, VA. Some of the Haymore family later moved to Surrey County, North Carolina in the 1800's. \r\n |

My great great great grandfather Benjamin ROWE was born in 1800 in the state of Virginia. He married Lorahama Livingston in 1844 in Greene Co. IN. Ledgend has it that Lorahama was a native American whose name translates 'Indian Princess.' The Greene Co. IN 1850 census lists their children as Elisabeth, Cynthy, David, Benjaimin, Mary and Andrew (my great,great grandfather). |
