James Alanson Clark
Description: James was born: 1823 in Port Leyden, New York and moved to Whitby, Ontario, Canada in 1853, my grandfather Frederick W. Clark was born in Whitby on 11 November 1853, 3 weeks after his parents arrived there. James was a member of Whitby Masonic Lodge, where his father Charles was the first Grand Master of the Whitby Lodge. James was married to Isabel Clough, (nothing else is known about her) James parents were Charles William Clark and Anna (Merwin) Clark. Charles was born in Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut, and Anna was born in New York. James later moved to Toronto, Canada, where he was a photographer. I lose him after the 1880 census.

Description: Is there a way to find Clark's from Middlesex, Connecticut, that are related to Clark's in Virgina. With out going back to England. I recently had my DNA done thru myfamily.com and have found a few people who are 99.9% related to me, but we can't seem to see where we tie in. They are also Clark's, but their family's were in Virgina. Mine are mostly in Middlesex, Connecticut

Description: Looking for info on my grandmother's lineage. Father, Peter A. Burton born abt.1853 in Georgia, his parents Abraham and Hannah Burton, thirteen siblings. Mother was Sarah C. Erwin born abt. 1860 in Arkansas. I first found them, married in 1880 census with first son Charles at 8 months, there would be six more children to follow including my grandmother. Her siblings are buried in Pine Log cemetery, Craighead Co., Arkansas. I've just started the search so I don't have alot of info any help out there?????
