The Robertson family came from Glasgow, Scotland in 1842 to Nottawasaga/Collingwood, Simcoe Co., Ontario, Canada. Fallon (Dublin, Ireland), Hogan (Ireland? to Quebec, Canada) and Fyfe (Hebrides, Scotland)] and later moved to Dugald/Prairie Grove, Manitoba, Canada. The Currie and McDougal families came from Islay, Scotland to Nottawasaga/Collingwood, Simcoe Co., Ontario, Canada. The Cole family were from Leeds/Grenville Counties in Ontario, Canada and were (probably) United Empire Loyalists from the US. The Wiltse family descend from Hendrick Martensen in Albany(Fort Orange), NY in the 1650's. Nannie Privett Dale the oldest child of Alfred and Callie Hounshell Privett. Her family consisted of Robert, Daniel, Ernest, Lucian, Alfred Jr., Nola, Ida, Ethel, Mary. This family were all born and most married in Breahtitt County, Kentucky. \r\n\r\nGreen was the son of Henry Powell and Alice Cannon Dale. His family consisted of Clyde(son of Alice), William, John, Chlara (known as Chloe), and Carolyn (known as Carrie). This family is complete I believe for the 2nd marriage of Henry. Although I am not sure on the 1st marriage the 3rd marriage to Dora Fletcher possibly produced Columbia, Sofa, and Issac. Joseph Adkins lived in South Dakota. He died in June 1860.My husband is a descent of John Connelly Adkins, whose family was in the banking business in Madison, South Dakota, but moved to Norfolk, Nebraska after the Depression. \r\nI am also researching my own family name, LAKEY. My father, Andy\r\nLee Chester LAKEY, was born in Mountain Home, AR on March 15, 1905. His mother's name was Mary Martha Cobb and she married Simon LAKEY when she was very young. All of the names I am researching lived at one time in North Louisiana. Most of them originated in Catahoula Parish. Some migrated to Shreveport and others to Arkansas. Others stayed in the Central Louisiana area. The Chambers lived in Marthaville, Natchitoches Parish, then moved to East Texas, Shreveport, and southern Arkansas. I am looking for the Shaiffers. They seemed to disappear into thin air after leaving Catahoula Parish. Some of the Adairs moved to the Shreveport-Bossier area. \r\nPartriarch Joseph Adair settled in East Carroll Parish where Joe's Bayou flowed into Bayou Macon. At one time, Joseph also lived in Concordia Parish. His children were John, David, Martha, Sidney, Sarah, and a daughter who was suspected to have been kidnapped by Indians when an infant. She was the first born. \r\nJohn's children were Johnathan Marion, Mary Malinda, James, Richard Harding, Thomas, and William.\r\nJohnathan's children were Martha Euretta, Marshall Newman, Richard Randolph, Johnathan F., and Mary Malinda.\r\nMartha Euretta m. Jason Mahoney Wallace. They were my maternal grandparents. They lived in Shreveport, Louisiana.
