My family started in Ireland, James & Ann Keeley migrated to the U.S. in about 1864. Their Children's names are Mary and Ann who both died in Ireland, Gertude Keeley Baird, Threasa Keeley, Elizabeth Keeley Vandebogart, James, Agnes,John, and Mary Ann Keeley Seamans. My great-great grandfather was Christopher Cavender (Cavanaugh)and great- great grandmother was Mary Knauff Cavender (Cavanaugh). On my father's side I'm searching for relatives with the last name of Smith. Apparently the last name of Salisbury was changed to Smith when the family migrated here from England. The first known relative is William Salisbury who married Susanna in, we think, England. Their children were Johnathan (who married Sarah Whipple), Edward, and Cornelius.
