The Descendants of Hiram C Baldwin & Julia Ann Osborne
Hiram and Julia Ann Osborne bore three sons, James(b May 10, (1861), Jefferson Franklin (b Dec, 16 1862) and John H (b.1872) all in Grayson Co, Va a couple hundred yards from where the Little Helton Creek crosses US 58. My dad's explanation would have been, back of the Balsa on the Helton. It is apparent that most of the Baldwins were short on conversation since no one ever talked about their Kinfolk. Within our family there appears to be a lot of Native American blood. From my Grandmother's Bible(Mary Denny)we know that her mother was and is referred to as squaw. Us white folk were not kind enough to give them a name in our official records. William HenryBill Baldwin (1930- ) William Henry Baldwin - InterneTree
