GENEALOGIES OF VIRGINIA FAMILIES Vol IV N - T William & Mary Quarterly p. 215-6 The Muster of Inhabitants shows on 24 Jan 1624 at Necke of Land, Charles City: Luke Boyse aged 44 in the Edwine May 1619; Alice his wife in the Bona Nova April 1622; Their Servants; Robert Hallom aged 23 in the Bonaventure August 1620; JOSEPH ROYALL aged 22 in the Charitie July 1622 (Hotten, p. 202). On 11 Nov. 1635 there was granted to Hannah Boyse daughter and heir of Luke Boyse, late of Henrico, 300 a. in that county, adjoining the lands of her mother, Alice Edloe, due in right of her father for transporting persons, including Robert Hallom and JOSEPH ROYALL. There was a regrant 13 July 1637 (Nugent, pp. 40, 59; V Va Mag. 97, 212; XXIV W & M (1) 128). A COURT at James Citty the 19th. of February 1626, being sent Mr. Doctor Pott. Capt. Smyth. Capt. Matthews. Mr. Secretary. Mr. ffarrar. It is ordered that there shall be a warrant sent up unto Sherley Hundred in ye Maine, that John Ewins & Jane Hill should be sent downe to James-Citty, & there to be examined concerning such leud behavior as hath bin betweene them. John H. ARNOLD, born ca 1849 in NY, parents both from NY. 2 children: John E. born ca 1870 & Sis born ca 1872, both in TX. Married Priss born ca 1860, TX (parents both born in IL) James Arnold born ca 1880, TX. Frank W. Arnold born ca 1884 to 1885, TX John H. Arnold 61,widower, Frank W.24, Harry 22, Jack 19, Cletis 17, Ratt? 14, & Bessie 11 are all on the 1910 census for Canadian Township,OK. John E.Arnold, 40 is showing as living 50 households away with his wife & 8 children. In January of 1911, Frank W. ARNOLD (currently living in Trousdale, OK) married Eva H. JONES in Lexington, OK. We also find that Harry was married at about this same time, also in Cleveland County, and was still living there in 1920. Information on Eva H. JONES: Father: W.A. JONES born 1845, died 30 Jan 1905. Buried in the Willow View Cemetary near Lexington, OK Mother: Clara or Sarah C. Jones. She re-married Ezekiel A. Peltier on 3 March 1908 in McClain County. On the 1910 census she is listed as Clara PELTIER and states that she has borne 9 children with 9 living. There are 6 children living with her and E.A.Peltier: J.Nelson JONES born ca 1894 MISSISSIPPI (died in an oil well fire in 1921 buried: Willow View Cemetary) Eva H. JONES born ca 1896 MISSISSIPPI Maudie JONES born a 1898 MISSISSIPPI Leonard JONES born ca 1903 OKLAHOMA TERRITORY Cora JONES born ca 1905 OKLAHOMA TERRITORY And baby boy Lonnie PELTIER In 1911 Ezekial PELTIER filed for divorce against Clara. The case was dismissed. Two years later, Clara filed. One of the divorce papers shows Mrs. Eva Arnold of Paoli, OK as a witness. Paoli is in Garvin County. There is not a decree with the second filing, either, however, Ezekial married his brother?s widow sometime around 1920, so either that divorce was completed, or Clara died. Frank & Eva ARNOLD gave birth to a son, Thomas Edward, on February 28, 1912 in Lexington, OKLAHOMA. They had 2 other children that I know about: Frank Jr & Gus. Somewhere around 1930 Thomas Edward ARNOLD married Ruby Alice KELLER. Thomas & Ruby had three sons: Robert L. Arnold born 13 May 1932, OK City Donald Edward Arnold born 12 February 1934, OK City, Gary K. Arnold born 16 August 1939 Oklahoma City, OK died 5 July 1988 Tacoma, WA Donald Edward ARNOLD married Marjorie Jean WYMORE in Tacoma, WA on 28 Dec 1953. Don & Marj had one daughter.
