Description: George Ray went to Wilkes co Ga in the late 1780's. I believe he was from Virginia and went to NC then to Wilkes co Ga. He went to Jackson co Ga in the late 1790's and when Clarke co Ga was fromed in 1801 his land was in clarke co Ga. Researchers say he died in 1819 in Clarke co or Jasper co Ga but I believe he might have died in the 1820's in probaly the 1820's. If anyone has info about where George Ray was from or when or where he died please email me. Thanks, Ross
