Robert Andrews b-13 jul 1838,in NewYork City.d-08 aug 1902,in Pittsfield , Mass.,married Jane McPherson b-16 feb 1841,Canada d-10 mar 1900 NY,both Robert & Jane are buried in N.Bergan,NJ at Machpelah cemetary, there are 14 graves most are named Norton of which I know very little. On Robert Andrews(1838-1902)death, registered in Pittsfield,Mass.1902 his father is listed as unknown. His mother is listed as Jane Newson.I know that his father(Unknown Andrews)died in 1845 and his mother (listed as Jane Newson on his registerd death in Pittsfied,Mass.-1902) had died before 1845 , I estimate their lives at between 1818-1845.I know that Robert Andrews (1838-1902)was the only son and he had at least two sisters but I don't know their names.I believe that Robert and his sisters were raised by someone in Pittsfield,Mass.,whom he wrote to during the Civil War and refered to as My dearest Mother. This person could be Jane Newson , who may not be his biological Mother . After the Civil War Robert Andrews was a Toy Merchant in NY City until he retired in 1900.I am also descended from John Henry Hardwick b-in Germany, married Katharine Hartman b-in Germany. Most of these people are from the New England States and Canada.
