Family Bouwland was hired from a nearby plantation called 'La Resource'\r\n\r\nInformation about 'De vier hendrikken' starts in 1814 with owner 'C.H.L.Buck' who might have been an englishmen, and 'J.P. Emanuels and S.L. Hijmans last owners 1856 - 1879' i\m not sure which one of them was the last owner. \r\n\r\n'De vier Hendrikken was sold in 1879 to J.Sanches, J.F. Borveld, A. Borveld, C.
