Description: I am looking for information about my mother. Her first marriage was to alvin R. Mc Nary, they had four children lived in the Seattle/ Vashion Island during 1939- to 1950 , when they divorced. Later she re-married as I have been told to a fellow by the name of Douglas Sherry. I was told she moved to Alaska. Haven't been able to find a birth date-born in washington/ or a death date.. If anyone has any information- please help me. Thanks so much. Description: I have researched the Scotch-Irishe Taylors of Rocky Springs, Laurens County, SC for 40 years.
Robert Taylor's family moved to Franklin County, Indiana in 1806,
Robert H. and brothers, Wlliam and Charles, and cousin, Kennedy Taylor, moved to Bartow County, Ga. in 1853,
John Henry Taylor, Jr. moved his family to Franklin County, Al. in 1883,
William and brother, Henry, moved to Henry County, Ga. in 1838,
Descendants of Charles L. Taylor moved to Texas around 1870's?
I also have a suspicion that some Taylors moved to eastern Tn. around 1810 - 1830s?
These are the movements of which I know from Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church. There are probably others. They moved in groups which usually included Blakely, Templeton, Summeral, Todd, McDowell, McCullum, Speer, Goodwin and others from Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in Laurens County, SC.
They always moved from their new homes to other places also. I don't know about many of them.
