Nathaniel Lee was born abt 1809 in Wilkes County, Georgia. He moved with his unknown parents to Alabama where another son, Seaborn, was born in 1821. Then on to Mississippi. Nathaniel married Sarah Chain. They moved from Covington County, Miss. to then Perry County, Miss. and founded a communtiy called until this day, Leeville. Nathaniel and Sarah had 12 children all born in Miss. Their names are: N. Marion, Greenberry, Martha Ann who died young, William G. or Z., Jessima Jane, Phoebe Elizabeth, J. Morgan, Seburn, John N., Adeline Ann, Henry Solomon, and Aaron R. Lee. George Allen, born London 03/11/1698, bapt. 20/11/1698 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields came to Portugal in the begining of the 18th Century. He became a merchant, ship owner and Portwine exporter, based in V.N. de Gaia, Oporto, Portugal.\r\nIn 1728, at St. Benet, Paul's Wharf, he married Josefa Nevel (sic), or Newell, of English origin but born in Porto. She was daughter of William Nevel (sic) and Mary Joan, nee Tyson, and grand daughter of William and Judith Nevel (sic), of St. Bartholomew, London (?)\r\nJosefa Nevel (sic) had a sister, Mary Joan Newell (sic), who married a John Allen - probably a relative of George Allen - in 1723, in the same church of St. Benet, Paul's Wharf. As George, he declared he was from All Hollows, Staining, London.\r\nMary Joan Tyson had at least one sister, Susan, and one brother, Richard Tyson 'a mariner and captain of a ship called 'Joseph and Mary', of London.\r\n\r\nPORTUGUESE DESCEN.
