DOWN BY THE OLD MILL STREAM- A STYMIEST CHRONICLE
THE STYMIEST FAMILY' \r\nThe History of The 'Stymiest' Family name has been an exciting 42 year research adventure for me. Acknowledgements to my father, Carlyle William (Bud) Stymiest (1910-1994),(New Brunswick, Canada his brother, Donald Garfield Stymiest,(Ontario, Canada),and his daughter, Barbara G. Stymiest, for their help and motivation to complete this work.\r\n\r\nACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:\r\nThe notes of Eldon J. Stymiest (New Brunswick, Canada) were the initial inspiration to 'seek-out the illusive' pre-North American STYMIEST surname. After countless hours of searching the archives in Europe, Canada and the United States, I have been able to ascertain some twenty-six 'Stymiest' generations (approx. 49,000 ancestors & descendants), all which tell their own story. \r\n\r\nA new released book, 'DOWN BY THE OLD MILL STREAM: A STYMIEST CHRONICLE' by C. W. W. Stymiest, U.E. is NOW available from TRAFFORD Publishing (Victoria, BC, Canada). |
