Description: Seeking information on the Judge family of Troy, NY. Oldest confirmed ancestor is John Joseph Judge, (b. Ireland, abt. December 1846; d. prob. 1926). Imigrated to US, married Julia NAILOR (abt. 1848-1887). One of the four children, Frank Thomas Judge (abt. 1879-1939), married Jane Elizabeth WALL (abt. 1877-1952), prob. November 1911. John Joseph his children remained in Troy area, living on Ida Street. Surname of mother of John Joseph thought to be TRACY, though some recent evidence suggests Cusack (father widowed and remarried?).

Laurel Tracy
Description: Looking for "source records" as to the parents of Lyman Tracy. On the 1850 census records of Schuyler/Fulton Counties, Illinois, Lyman Tracy was listed as being age 53, and born in N.Y. He was married to Anna Carlock in 1825 in Fulton County, Illinois.
Some sources have Lyman being the son of Thomas Rix Tracy, and some as the son of Sanford Tracy. What are these theories based on? Does anyone know of an existing birth record or christenening record for Lyman Tracy, born in 1797 in the State of New York, showing the names of his parents?
Lyman Tracy went missing between the 1850 and 1860 census in Illinois. There is no death record for Lyman. Some sources say he died in 1881, but do not state what the "source document" is. Anna Carlock Tracy remarried William Steel. Her gravestone inprint "Anna Carlock...wife of Wm. Steel, former wife of L. Tracy".
There are too many geneaology records held by the Church of the Latter Day Saints that simply are false. They are not based on fact, or documentation.
