He married Cuziah Cozzie Wilson. As late as 1880 they were living in Beech Springs, SC. They had 9 children (listed with approx. birthdates - and best spelling of names!): Lozo - 1820, Rosana - 1820 - 1832, Martin - 1825, William - 1833, Mary - 1835, Eliza - 1840, Mima - 1844, William Pinckney (my direct line) - August 7, 1845 and died February 11, 1912, and Margaret - 1847. My great-great grandfather was William Pinckney COLLINS (known commonly as W.P.). He married Elizabethe HEMPLEY. They had 7 children: Ed, Effie, Mannie, Joe - 1871, Samuel Egbert (my direct line) who was born September 22, 1874 and died January 20, 1955, Minnie - 1875, and Ola - 1878. W.P. owned and operated a Mill near Holly Springs. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he and his wife are buried.
