His father's name was Roswell Barber. Milo R. & Myranda O. Barber moved to Kosciusko County Indiana in 1840 and lived in the Silver Lake area. They had 10 children (the first 4 were born in New York): Abi (1831), Sophnnia (1835), Myron F. (1837), Charles (1839), Milo R. Jr. (1841), Calvin S. (1843), Sylvester (1846), George M. (1849), Edwin (1852) and Theron (1857). Milo R. died Feb. 28, 1900 in Koscusko County Indiana. Mryon F. moved to Nebraska circa 1872. Calvin S. in Nebraska by 1880 but did also live in California after 1900. Milo R. Jr. in Nebraska by 1880 but by 1900 was most likely in Oklahoma.
