THE FAMILY OF HENRY T. BATTLE & HOPE SMITHSON
THOMAS ALFRED SMITHSON, born Aug. 8, 1882, in Sullivan Cnty Tenn. His parents were SAMUEL SMITHSON and MARGARET SHIPPLEY. He was married to FLORENCE VIRGINIA TURNER, born Nov. 28, 1883, in Butler Cnty Mo. Her parents were BENJAMIN FRANKLIN TURNER and SARAH LEONA FITZGERALD. They had eight children, Addie Ellen, Dallas Norwine, John Willis, Harriet Eliza Jane, Thomas Abraham, Virgie Bell, Violet Evelyn, Ray Moreland and a baby boy that died very young. F. J. Dunn, his wife Mary Cowan, and their daughter, Mahala A. Dunn, born Oct. 4,1868-died Sept. 26, 1915 in London, Pope Cnty, Ark. She was married to a Martin. There was a Mathus Warren, married to Mary Jane Bradley. They were the parents of William David Warren, born July 6, 1886-died 1968.

THEN 1793 #9John & his 1813 brother William.10-Owen Henry Bagby. My line continues with 11Walter Horsley Bagby 12 Maurice Rhoades Bagby. (New is the Walter Rhoades & Kube FTM Report) #8 Wm is the 1810 Bourbon CO Census Bagbey/Bagby & Mary Fearn. Mary (Fern)Bagbey is the sister who is listed in the 1799 John Fearn 111(3rd's) Will.They have 8 children Then #8Wm Bagby marries another Mary Fearn in 1824.& has 3 more. #9 the 1793 John Bagby & Mildred Ward & family came to Howard/Randolph,CO. In the 1870 cences Ben had a new wife listed along with David was 8,\r\nJohn was 4,Mollie was 3 and Parthena was 2.David was the last child of Sarah before she died in abt.1861 or 62.Ben married Mary Prisket on Sept. 16, 1862 at his house.In the 1880 cences\r\nthere was Mandy E.she was 9,D.Abney was7 and Albert was1mo.George\r\nW.and Olivia J.Hill married Jan.4,1877,Mary Ann and John W. Moore married April 7,1876,James A. married Lucinda Martin Jan. 20,1890 at W.D.Martins home.William H.married Martha Elizabeth Hodgens,David married Mariah King Dec.12,1885,Parthena married Lemuel Roden June 15,1885,Mandy Evaline married John R. Rooks Oct. 14, 1899 at Bens house.D.Abney married Annie Critcher Dec. 4,1904 at Annies home.Albert died in 1901.
