Description: Looking for my connection to the Carpenters of New York.
Ggrandfather, Charles Carpenter (11/18/1830-11/20/1888). 1880 census of Cattaraugus, Napoli, NY says his parents were born in NY also. He married Harriet Palmer (1840-?), also of NY and parents born in NY. Their son, Arthur DeVere Carpenter (1865-1958) was my grandfather. He married Grace Murdock. The list of surnames I am posting are all connected with my Carpenters as Arthur and Grace gave these surnames as their 6 childrens middle names.

Not listed in the 1910 census in the home of her son Arthur Devere, who was by then in Seattle, WA.
