Schroeder-Scott-Funk-Bank Families Genealogy
The Scott side of my family starts with my great, great grandfather, who emigrated from Herfordshire, England, circa 1862. His wife, Carolyn Hamblyn, followed him here, around 1864. According to Family legend, Thomas Scott has a connection to the famed Novelist, Sir Walter Scott. However, this tidbit has yet to be proven through fact. The Schroeder (pronounced Schrader) side begins with my maternal grandmother's great grandparents, Christian Schroeder and Anernestine Roggow. My family name, Bank, begins with Kamper Bank and his wife, Sarah Rifke Totz. They would be my paternal great great grandparents. The Funk surname, comes from my step-grandfather.
