Origin: Sarrionandia is a Basque name. It is fairly common, and to my knowledge there are Sarrionandias living in Spain, the Basque Country, the UK and the Dominican Republic.

The meaning is difficult to discover, but if split into three parts, we can see that Sarri = a menudo
and Andia = something "Don".

I cannot find the meaning for the whole word

He asked them if they knew were the "Sarvis" name came from. They advised him from Ireland. He then told thenm that the name "Sarvis" is not originally from Ireland it was from Greece. Origin: I have a book that was passed down to me from my grandparents that dates back to the early 14th century. Sargeant is not English it is German. Just because a person was born in England, that does not make them English. Sargeant is Germanic. The spelling has changed back and forth through the years but that doesn't make my last name English. Oh yes I almost forgot, the old book of my family history is written in German.
