Jose Andres married Adelita Sanchez on Jan 9, 1893 in Penasco, NM. They had 9 children named Rebecca, Diego, Abel, Rachel, Colestica, Senadia, Beatrica, Juanna, Maria, My grandfather was Diego he married Cora Sandoval who was from Penasco also they had 10 children Betty, Jose, Diego, Raymond, Dora, Maria, Jenny, Steven, they all moved to Wyoming 45 years ago. My grandpa died in a accident in Jackson, Wy. a truck was passing there truck and a rock flew out and struck him in the back of head killing him. My grandma is still alive she is now in her mid eighty's. My father is Jose and he married Orleen Esponiza and they have four kids Joann, Kathy, Joseph, John |

The Aragon Family of New Mexico. Rafael Aragon Born in Cebolleta married Maria Guadalupe Sandoval About 1810 - 1817 Alcario Baca born Jan 1856 and Rita Padilla born May 1865. In the 1900 census lived in the San Miquel, Guadalupe couties area. Possibly in Anton Chico. Filimeno Perea married Rosavara Lueras born 1862. Had at least one son Francisco Perea married Agripina (Chavez or Dupre). Rosavara later remarried a Lazaro Cordova in 1897 and had two more daughters. Named Julianita and Patrita Cordova. |

Maternal grandmother: Petronila Alire, daughter to Jose Ignacio (or Egnacio) Alire and Lupita (Guadalupe)Torrez. Jose Ignacio Alire's parents were Juan DeJesus Alire and Soledad Zamora.\r\n\r\nErnest Sandoval was born in Holman, Mora County, New Mexico in 1922.His father: Macario Sandoval born also in Holman, New Mexico in 1892 married Gregorita Romero born in Holman,New Mexico Nov 20, 1892.This was their second marriage as they each lost their spouses to the Influenza Epidemic.Gregorita had a son from her first marriage named Leo Lucero. Macario and Gregorita then had my father Ernest Eutemio Sandoval, and my Aunt Viola Sandoval (now Romero).\r\nMy maternal grandmother, Petronila, was one of many children with sisters of Matiana, Abram, Ismael, Naomi, Reyecitas, Elias, and others I hope to add later. Petronila Alire was born April 11, 1884 (possibly 1888)in either Colorado or New Mexico. Maternal grandfather, husband to Petronila, was Melquiades Martinez born Dec. 8,1888 (possibly 1884). His birth father was Felix Archuleta, a lawyer in Pagoso Springs, Colorado. He did not marry Melquiades\ mother. She married a man whose last name was Martinez. |
