Origin of Ryan, Meaning of Ryan
Origin: Bryant. It was originally O'Bryant but due to some circumstances we had to change our name to Bryant. These circumstances are that other irish clans decided to try and take our land. To make a long story short basically the O'Bryant clan killed all the people who tried to steal our land. Eventually we were run out of Ireland, Scotland, and England because the other clans would not leave us alone. So that is why there are Bryant's and O'Bryant's all over the UK.
