Bleicker/Blaker: They came from Germany to PA, abt the 3rd generation some of them moved south to VA then to WV. Collins: Am looking for Joseph Collins parents, he was born in TN and died in VA. Had son, Dillard Collins and daugther JoAnne Collins. Fisher: Am looking for the parents of James Plunkett Fisher, he married Martha Ellen Pyles in WV abt 1880 in Monroe Co WV. Gullett: Looking for the parents of Daniel Gullett born in Carter KY and married Martha Ellen Brown of Carter KY, both died in WV- had a son named Charlie Allen Gullett who married Minnie Tate in WV. Hughes: Am looking for any information on the Huhges of SC, Frank Hughes was raised in SC and died in VA. McNair/McNeer: They came from Scotland abt 1716, like to find out what part of Scotland they came from. Pyles: Am trying to find out where the Pyles family come from. Have them back to Jacob Pyles born abt 1769 in PA, come to Sweet Springs VA where his children where born. Tate: Looking for the family of John Tate who was the father of Minnie Tate, Rose, Maude, Carl, and Tom. The children where born in WV. Taylor: Looking for the parents of John Taylor. The Rev. Paul H Andree Family, 1879; Of Westmoreland Co, Pa
Paul H Andree, Sr family. His mother was Hannah Wall 1859 to late 1997. He worked in the coal mines as a child and then on his uncle?s farm for his keep until his uncle died. Paul was supposed to inherit the farm, but for some reason he didn?t. Paul attended the Felsburg Methodist Church where Sarah Zimmerman was the organist. They fell in love, but Grandma Zimmerman (Sarah?s mother)wouldn?t let Sarah marry Paul because he was an orphan with no family; so they eloped to Maryland. In later years, Grandma Zimmerman thought so much of Paul that he became her favorite. Paul received the Wesleyan teaching of ?Holiness? as a Christian, which was unpopular in some churches. He began holding prayer meetings in homes as he was called upon. My father, Howard, said that Paul was often away in the evenings and Sunday afternoons to lead meetings. The Nazarenes had a tent revival that birthed a church in Monongahala. Thet needed a Pastor and people said to call Paul Andree. He said he would take it until they found a Pastor; he stayed for 34 years until he retired. He bought a large house in New Eagle which he called his ?house of prayer?. His parent's are ? Elletta Viola Chapman and Albert T. Asbury. Elletta Chapman's fathers name was Evi or Eli W. Chapman and Elletta's mothers name Maria ?. Evi or Eli Chapman and Maria were born in Ohio abt 1837. The Chapmans were living in St. Vrain dist. Colorado, near Boulder in 1870.\r\n\r\nMary Frances Ross she was married to Julius Augustus Conklin: born Nov. 17,1834 died Aug.12,1881 in Pleasonton, Manistee Co., Michigan. His father was Isaac Conklin and Charity Campbell need info on the Conklin and Campbell lines also.\r\n\r\nDavid Barr (Baer) who married Mahala Hively, Would like to have Barr or Baer Line.\r\n\r\nZELLNER's who came to America abt. 1908 the children came over to America from Faget, Hungary which is now in Romania.\r\n\r\n |
