Description: I am searching for Samuel M. Price who was born in Pennsylvania in 1806. The latest I trace him is to 1830 in Belmont County, Ohio, Smith Township. Census records show him in different counties in Ohio in 1840, 1850, 1860. If I could find out where he was born perhaps I could find out who his father's name and eventually go back to probably Wales. 1840 census shows him next to Epraim Price in Wayne Township, Belmont County.

1850 census shows Samuel in Hocking County, Ward Township, Ohio age 43 with next entries to John W Price age 20, Eliza Price age 21, Sara Price 5 months old. Ruannah Price age 40. Epraim is still in Wayne Township, Belmont County, is 47 and there's a Jacob Price age 74 and Nancy Price age 74. I'm thinking Jacob probably is the father of Samuel and Epraim.

James was a member of Whitby Masonic Lodge, where his father Charles was the first Grand Master of the Whitby Lodge. James was married to Isabel Clough, (nothing else is known about her) James parents were Charles William Clark and Anna (Merwin) Clark.
