The Stiefel Family Home Page
Carlos Guillermo Stiefel, born in Pforzhm, Wutemberg, Germany on February 16, 1840. He emigrated to Argentina, Santa Fe, around 1860 with a group of colonizers. He married Bertha Angelica Tschuy, from Buren, Solothurn, Switzerland. They had eight children: Carlos Henry, Emilia, Federico, Ema, Adela, Ricardo, Guillermo, and Ulrico. In 1898, after his wife death, Carlos Guillermo returned to Germany where he married again and had children. |

Michael (born late 1820s, early 1830s, died btw 1889-1892) and Mary (b. 1831 d. 1917 New Britain, CT maiden name: Shea) Donahue who were from Ireland and raised three children in Hartford, CT. They attended St. Patrick and Anthony Church in Hartford. \r\nMary Donahue b. 2/29/1868 \r\nJohn Donahue b. 10/18/1870 \r\nRobert Bartholomew Donahue b. 10/17/1879 \r\n\r\nRobert married Emma Zellie Cox (b. 12/12/1883 Linn Co. MO. d. 5/16/66, CA)They lived in New Britain, CT and Tulsa, OK. They had six children. \r\nWilliam 'Bill' Donahue \r\nRalph Donahue b. 1904 in OK. \r\nEveretta 'Bobby' Donahue \r\nLeo Donahue \r\nWalter Donahue \r\nClarence Donahue died at age three. \r\n\r\nWalter was my grandfather. I\d like to know more about Michael and Mary. Census records indicate Mary immigrated 1861, but when did Michael emigrate?
