Mabel's parents were Latimer STONER and Nancy 'Kate' ALTLAND of Pennsylvania. Walter's parents were William Walter BODE (of origins unknown) and Kate GORDON of Connecticut. Louis BAKER (Black Eagle) was the son of Sand Snake Woman and a vague character: Fred VICLIZ OR FIGLEY. Charles MALNOURIE married BEAVER WOMAN in North Dakota in the late 1800s. I think he immigrated from France. George GRINNELL married Josephine MALNOURIE in North Dakota in the late 1800s. The Indians above are from the Mandan & Hidatsa tribes. John MULHERN married Brave Woman (Sioux) in North Dakota. He was originally from Ireland. Edward PARTAIN married Catherine MULHERN (part Sioux, part Irish) of South Dakota.
