Frank J. Martin was married to Nettie N. HUBBARD. They had 3 children Myrtle (1895), Frank E. (1905), and his Twin brother Floyd. They were born in Chicago, Ill. Frank (Francis) first wife Henrietta Hawley. Both from Vermont. They were married in Windsor, Windsor Co. Vermont 1883. They had one child but only lived a half of a day. Chamberlain family from Vermont. Louis Chamberlain married Lydia Mary Morey Nourie and had several children. Louis' parents are John Chamberlain and Mary Ann. Louis and Lydia had my ggrandmother Josephine Chamberlain and she married George Boucher. George's parents are Joseph Boucher and Emma LeMay. Both of them are from Canada. He married a Frances Bowman in PAor Hocking County, Ohio,OH, My line comes from son Jeremiah born Hocking County, Ohio 23 Sept. 1806 and He married a Mary Miller in Ohio. She was also born in Ohio. Six of their 7 children born here. Robertson in Dooley County, Georgia, GAFurby in Norwood, Wright County,Missouri MO 1886-1896 then Cyrus (my line) ended up in Calif (1920 census) after spending some time in Utah.Conrow in McDonald,Newton, and Wright Counties Missouri.They were in Iowa befor that.Silas Conrow was from Ireland. He came over with 2 brothers. He lost contact with them after he went west from Ohio and they went north.Carpenter Rufus was born in the state of New York, NY, and moved to Jennings County Indiana. In the late 1870's moved to Dickinson County, Kansas, KS. Kidd In Wright County, Missouri 1910 and 1920Strolh went back as far as PA, ILL, Iowa and NebraskaTatman were in Illinois, IL and Iowa, IA Matilida and Malinda married Strohl's that were brothers. |

I am researching families who lived in South Philadelphia, PA during the 1700's & 1800's. This area was referred to as the 'neck' and a lot of the residents were farmers and market gardeners. The earliest ancestors I have found on these lines are:\r\nMichael Getz(1730-1812) and Barbara Metzger(1733-1820)\r\nFrancis Read(1755-1848) and Martha Mirely(1757-1840)\r\nPhilip Mink(1754-1837) and Anna Maria Metzger(1758-1844)\r\nJohn Simon(???? - 1798) and Catherine ?? (1741-1829)\r\nMichael Metzger(1712-1784)and Catherine Ulmer(????-1778)\r\n\r\nJohn Simon and Michael Getz both fought in the Revolutionary War and are on the DAR's Patriot List. |
