The Houlden Family of Lincolnshire, UK & Canada Houlden Family originated from the Lincolnshire area of England. My gg-grandfather was Thomas Houlden (b.abt 1808) who married Dinah Tomblinson (b. abt 1811) They had at least 2 sons. One of the sons, Charles Houlden (born 1850 in West Ashby, Lincs) married Betsy Anne Cotham (born 1860-1861 in Swineshead, Lincs) on February 3, 1880 in Bicker, near Boston, Lincs. Charles and Betsy Anne had 8 children all born in Bicker.
