Martin Mellinger returned to Liditz, PA in 1863 after his medical discharge from the Army in Ohio. By 1865 Martin is in Stephenson Co, Illinois and marries Anna Sellers, also of PA. They have three daughter together, Mary, Sarah, and Emma Elizabeth. Emma and Sarah list Princeton Indiana as their place of birth. Sometime after Emma's birth in 1873, Martin and Anna divorced. In 1879 she is remarried in a Vigo Co. Census for 1880 to Chas. Calvin and living in Vigo Co. Emma Elizabeth Mellinger was my grandmother. Bob and Debbie's Family Tree: Surname List |

The Keller Family of Rome, NY
Fidelis (Phillip) Keller came to the U.S. in 1860. He entered the Civil War fighting for the Union Army. On August 3, 1865 he married Wilhelmina (Minnie) Schooler in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Rome, NY. He was the son of Frank H. and Theresia Streicher Keller of Baden, Germany. Phillip died July 7, 1869 from lung disease. Minnie was the daughter of Peter and Mary Fisher Schooler from New London, NY. Witness to the marriage were Anthony and Theresia Keller. Minne and Phillip had two sons Martin died at age 4 and John who was born on Jan 5, 1869 and died Aug. 6, 1949. John married Mary Agnes O'Neill on November 28,1899 in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Rome, NY. They had eight children. my Grandfather James Henry Allinger was probably born in 1853 in New York state, although some of his offspring believe he came from Illinois. Sometime about 1897 he met and 'married' my grandmother Bertha Kruger in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Bertha was married and had 2 children by an unnamed miner who apparently blew himself up in a mining accident. James Henry and Bertha moved to Buena Vista Colorado in 1898 where Grandpa worked the mines and sold 'antiques' (ie used furniture). William Allin b. 1640 of England came to Prudence Island in Rhode Island about 1660.\r\n\r\nWilliam's great great grandson Samuel Reynolds Allen and his new wife Pamelia (Mila) Dee settled in Stanbridge Township in Missquoi County in Quebec about 1810. Pamelia's father Elijah Dee fought in the Revolutionary War and in the French and Indian war as Elijah Davol of Connecticut. Samuel's mother Mary Reynolds\ ancestors came on the Mayflower.\r\n\r\nSamuel Reynolds Allen's son Sylvester Jackson Allen came to Bolton Township Brome County Quebec in 1842. Sylvester Jackson Allen and his second wife Eleanor Turner were my great grand parents.\r\n |

I\m also looking into any information related to my great great grandfather Laureano De Santiago from La Coru?a, Galicia (Spain). \r\nQuintin Solero was married to Juana Alvira in Puerto Rico. They eventually had eight children: Marcelo, Felicita, Adolfo, Providencio, Josefina, Amalia, Valentin and Juan. |

Lucinda, wife of Emphraim was born in KY.\r\nHardin P. Lock/Locke married Mary Elizabeth Hale in 1852 in Giles Co. Tn. Their children are Geo. Washington, Andrew Jackson, Joseph Franklin, Dewitt Pleasant, Finis H. Mary E. died in 1870 in Dunklin Co. Mo. Son Andrew Jackson was born in Illinois in 1858. Have been unable to locate them in the 1860 census anywhere. The family left Dunklin Co. Mo and relocated in Oregan Co. Mo by the 1880 census. Hardin married Maggie Heath Moler in 1878 Randolph Co. Ar, not too far from Oregan Co. Mo. They also started a family of which my grandfather was born: Albert Haden Locke. They moved to AR in 1884, Hardin died in Randolph Co. AR in 1887. Hardin and Maggie had 5 children: Albert Haden, Queenie, Drew, Josie and Allie.\r\nOther family surnames are Adams from Illinois; Helms from TN; Clayton from TN. |
