Kel Davey
Description: I have been researching the Davey Family in Australia for 20 years and have come up with almost 2000 names of people related in some way to the Davey name. I've had very little luck tracing the family prior to 1839 when they came from Ireland and England where one ancestor was in the Battle of Waterloo in the 47th Lancashire Regiment of Foot. Originating from Essex in England prior to 1815. Great great great grandfather Robert Davey was in the Battle of Waterloo, his son Benjamin married in Ireland and lived in Waterford after marrying in Killkenny, then emigrated to Australia with wife, son and two daughters settling in Australia in 1839 in Sydney.
Surnames: Too numerous to mention but can supply names if needed.

James Ronald Taylor
Description: I have researched the Scotch-Irishe Taylors of Rocky Springs, Laurens County, SC for 40 years.
Robert Taylor's family moved to Franklin County, Indiana in 1806,
Robert H. and brothers, Wlliam and Charles, and cousin, Kennedy Taylor, moved to Bartow County, Ga. in 1853,
John Henry Taylor, Jr. moved his family to Franklin County, Al. in 1883,
William and brother, Henry, moved to Henry County, Ga. in 1838,
Descendants of Charles L. Taylor moved to Texas around 1870's?
I also have a suspicion that some Taylors moved to eastern Tn. around 1810 - 1830s?
These are the movements of which I know from Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church. There are probably others. They moved in groups which usually included Blakely, Templeton, Summeral, Todd, McDowell, McCullum, Speer, Goodwin and others from Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in Laurens County, SC. They always moved from their new homes to other places also. I don't know about many of them. If you have any information or questions about these people, feel free to email me. I am always glad to find new lines. I am also looking for the Scotch-Irishe Bryan or Bryant from Chester or York Counties, SC. (1820s - 1890s)
Thank you, James Ronald Taylor
